Libertarian: someone who favors maximizing the freedom of individuals and minimizing government interference in their decisions. Of the various factions I come closest to the Minarchists--I believe anarchism won't work, so we have to work to restrict government as much as practical.
Hawk: An epithet for someone advocating the aggressive side of the current debate on conducting a war or preparing a strong defense. This term has been used in American politics as far back as the War of 1812. Right now it's a good label for those wanting to take the offensive against the Islamofascists.
