New-Style Contract Management

Today's WSJ has an article on US troops in Iraq staging fake raids to check up on development projects. Rather than coming by with clipboards and marking the business as a target for the Islamofascists they'll pretend to be looking for someone, roll in fully armed, prone out all the employees, and go through with cameras judging how their money was spent.

All I can think is that the CONUS acquisition guys must be jealous as hell.
